We are growing and looking for a hands-on Sales Manager to lead, coach, and develop our sales team while helping drive the next phase of growth for our company.


Position Overview

This is not a “sit behind a desk” management role. We are looking for a leader who thrives in the field, enjoys coaching people, and wants to build a winning culture.

The Sales Manager will spend the majority of their time training, mentoring, role-playing, and conducting ride-alongs with the sales team while helping maintain accountability and consistency throughout the sales process.

Responsibilities

Leadership & Coaching

  • Lead, mentor, and coach the sales team through daily field involvement
  • Conduct ride-alongs, in-home presentations, and live role-play training
  • Help sales reps improve closing skills, presentation skills, and customer communication
  • Foster a positive and motivating sales culture built around encouragement and accountability

Recruiting & Team Development

  • Recruit, hire, and onboard new sales reps as needed
  • Develop underperforming reps through coaching and training
  • Help build a consistent, systemized sales process and training platform

Sales Process Oversight

  • Review contracts for accuracy before jobs move into production
  • Ensure proper CRM usage and accurate lead tracking in JobNimbus
  • Monitor Ingage presentation usage and analytics
  • Ensure detailed inspections are completed, including photos, videos, PAR analysis, and 19-point inspections
  • Help maintain minimum team closing goals of 40%

Meetings & Training

  • Lead weekly Tuesday sales meetings with written agendas
  • Conduct live role-playing and objection-handling exercises
  • Celebrate team wins and keep morale high
  • Provide weekly one-on-one coaching sessions

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with operations and production teams for smooth project handoff
  • Provide sales reports and forecasting to leadership
  • Evaluate lead quality and distribution


What We’re Looking For

  • Leadership experience in sales management preferred
  • Roofing, construction, or home improvement experience is a plus
  • Strong communication and coaching ability
  • Comfortable leading meetings and speaking in front of teams
  • Organized and tech-savvy with CRM systems and sales software
  • Positive attitude with a growth mindset
  • Strong work ethic and ability to lead by example


Schedule & Expectations

  • Full-time salaried position
  • In-office hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM unless conducting ride-alongs or field coaching
  • Approximately 70% field coaching/training and 30% administrative work
  • Any time off must be documented and approved in the company calendar

Salary : $80,000 - $150,000
