Must-Have Qualifications
- 2 years of payroll experience (4 years preferred)
- Experience processing multi-state payroll
- Payroll tax knowledge (federal, state, and local taxes)
- Experience with garnishments, deductions, and payroll compliance
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, complex formulas)
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills
- Experience using HRIS/Payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, UKG/Kronos, Ceridian Dayforce, Oracle HCM, SAP Payroll, Paycom, Paylocity)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 4 years of progressive payroll experience
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)
- Experience with payroll system implementations or integrations
- Project or process improvement experience
- Experience automating payroll processes
- Cross-functional collaboration with HR, Finance, Accounting, and Legal
