Project Manager – Fiber Builds

Our client is seeking a Project Manager – Fiber Builds to support major Fiber Overbuild (FTTH) and Wireline OSP construction projects in the Dallas TX area. This is a full-time, exempt direct hire opportunity that will require five days in office.

This role requires a true Project Manager who can fully own and run fiber overbuild programs from planning through execution while serving as a primary liaison between construction operations and the customer. They will be the liaison with the client, providing all project updates.

This is a high-impact, customer-facing PM role where you will oversee large-scale fiber deployments supporting AT&T. You will manage build schedules, municipal coordination, change orders, forecasting, and customer communication — while driving production, margin, and quality. This is an ideal opportunity for a strong OSP Project Manager who thrives in structured environments, understands fiber construction deeply, and wants ownership of full program execution.

Required Skills & Experience

· Minimum 5 years of Wireline Outside Plant Construction Project Management experience

· Strong Fiber Overbuild / FTTH experience

· Proven customer-facing project management experience

· Strong data manipulation and reporting skills

· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, reporting)

· Experience managing construction crew workload and forecasting

· Understanding of Work-in-Progress reporting and 90-day forecasting

· Ability to interpret construction prints / blueprints and site layouts

· Familiarity with OSHA regulations

Desired Skills & Experience

· PMP Certification (preferred)

· Experience supporting AT&T

· Familiarity with Google Drive & Sheets

· Familiarity with Quick Base

· Outside Plant construction background

What You Will Be Doing

· Coordinate all activities involved in Wireline OSP construction operations

· Run Fiber Overbuild (FTTH) projects for AT&T

· Serve as liaison between Supervisors and Customers

· Communicate daily and weekly with homeowners and customers

· Schedule and forecast construction crew workload

· Manage change orders and ensure pre-approval and margin protection

· Maintain accurate forecasting and project reporting

· Work directly with municipalities to secure and manage permits

· Host customer meetings and manage escalations

· Track production, overage job management, and market productivity metrics

· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
