Hiring: 4G/5G RAN Engineer – Deployment & Optimization
Location: Alpharetta, GA or Brewster, WA (Onsite)

We are hiring a 4G/5G RAN Engineer to support deployment, trials, and performance optimization of next-generation wireless networks. This role is ideal for candidates with strong hands-on experience in RAN optimization and Nokia environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform 4G/5G RAN deployment and performance optimization for trials and commercial networks
- Work on CIQ to SCF workflows and remote configuration (Nokia environment preferred)
- Analyze network KPIs and optimize performance using parameter tuning
- Support PoC, trials, and live deployments with direct customer interaction
- Troubleshoot RF, software, and hardware issues impacting network performance
- Perform log analysis (UE & gNB/eNB) and provide RCA
- Generate KPI reports using EMS/OSS tools
- Coordinate with RAN, Transport, IP, Security, and Cloud teams
- Guide drive test teams and support field testing activities
- Develop test plans, MOPs, and deployment strategies
Required Skills
- 4 years of experience in RAN Engineering / Optimization / Performance
- Strong understanding of LTE, 5G NR, VoLTE, VoNR, CA, mMIMO
- Experience with tools: XCAL, XCAP, QXDM, TEMS, NEMO, ACTIX
- Knowledge of 3GPP standards, call flows, KPIs, and statistics
- Hands-on troubleshooting and performance tuning experience
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Nice to Have
- Scripting or automation (Excel Macros, Python, Shell, Linux)
- Experience with KPI/log analysis automation
- Prior experience in fast-paced or startup-like environments
