We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer for an onsite role in Alaska. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience working on HVAC and mechanical systems in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, analysis, and implementation of HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and air conditioning
- Support mechanical system design and coordination with multidisciplinary teams
- Apply basic mechanical controls knowledge gained through coursework or practical experience
- Prepare technical documentation, calculations, and design drawings
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to engineering solutions
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Foundational knowledge of HVAC systems
- Basic understanding of mechanical controls (academic or hands-on experience acceptable)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to learn and grow in a professional engineering environment
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (or related field)
Certification:
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) preferred; Professional Engineer (PE) not required
