We are seeking an experienced Inbuilding Construction Manager (CM3) to support inbuilding program deployments. This role requires approximately 60% travel and will be accountable for all Civil Works, financial controls, scheduling, and quality management on assigned projects. The CM will ensure Service Providers adhere to customer standards, requirements, and all federal/local regulations, while driving efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Financial Control
- Manage civil works execution with accountability for schedule, quality, and cost.
- Assess and control charges to the agreed site design.
- Ensure that only customer-approved materials are installed.
- Write claims, order/return materials, and maintain construction-specific documentation in project tracking systems.
Quality & Compliance
- Enforce customer, federal, and local safety/construction standards.
- Perform site pre-inspections, post-construction audits, and site verification.
- Conduct visual inspections to ensure workmanship quality meets customer expectations.
- Reject incorrect material deliveries and report poor performance.
Coordination & Supervision
- Coordinate site activities and ensure alignment across all disciplines involved in the project.
- Provide technical assistance to Service Providers and vendors during civil works.
- Attend progress and coordination meetings, providing accurate status updates to project management.
- Supervise, monitor, and lead Service Providers, ensuring adherence to project scope, timelines, and quality standards.
Safety & Risk Management
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure tools, equipment, and work environment are in proper condition.
- Maintain on-site supervision where customer site performance could be at risk.
- Promote knowledge and compliance with worker safety and environmental standards.
- Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports.
- Maintain accurate project records in designated project management systems, including:
- Scope of Work (SOW) and preconstruction documents (NTP, RFDS, QA standards, etc.)
- NTP receipt verification
- Civils acceptance documentation and approvals
- Daily progress verification (PFA)
- Close-out documentation review and approval
- Leadership & Continuous Improvement
- Lead teams with focus on quality, safety, and results.
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
- Investigate and solve complex construction issues by applying advanced techniques and methods.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management, preferably in the telecom/inbuilding sector.
- Proven track record managing large-scale builds (500 sites).
- Strong background in civil works, safety compliance, and vendor management.
