Commissioning Superintendent (2 Openings – Day & Night Shift)

📍 Location: Buffalo, NY (Relocation Available)

Travel: Site-based role with up to 100% travel as required.

We're hiring two Commissioning Superintendents (1 Day Shift & 1 Night Shift) to support large-scale, mission-critical Data Center construction projects.

If you have extensive data center commissioning/startup experience and enjoy leading field operations from startup through Integrated Systems Testing (IST), we'd love to connect.

What You'll Do

• Lead daily commissioning field operations on mission-critical data center projects.
• Direct startup, pre-functional checks, functional performance testing, and Integrated Systems Testing (IST).
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, technicians, and startup teams to maintain commissioning schedules.
• Verify system readiness and oversee testing for electrical and mechanical systems.
• Manage field deficiencies and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain commissioning documentation in Procore or similar platforms.
• Champion safety, quality, and commissioning best practices throughout project execution.

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder (Required)
• 8 years of commissioning, startup, or MEP field supervision experience.
• 3 years leading commissioning field operations as a Superintendent, Lead Technician, or Foreman.
• Direct Data Center Commissioning experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of:
• UPS, Switchgear, ATS, Generators, PDUs
• Chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, Pumps, Cooling Systems
• Levels 1–5 Commissioning
• Integrated Systems Testing (IST)
• Load Bank Testing
• Experience with Procore or similar construction management software.
• OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain).

Preferred Qualifications

• CxA, NEBB, or ACG commissioning certification
• Journeyman or Master Electrician/HVAC certification
• Owner's Representative or Third-Party Commissioning experience
• Experience with hyperscale or colocation data centers
