Construction Coordinator – OSP (Post-Installation QA)Location: LASchedule: Full-time, ~40 hours/weekWork Type: Field-heavy (80% field / 20% documentation)OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Construction Coordinator to support large-scale telecommunications builds by performing post-installation quality assurance (QA) in the field. This role is highly hands-on and ideal for candidates with strong OSP, aerial, and FTTH experience who are comfortable working independently across large metro areas.The initial focus will be Dallas, TX, with long-term work anticipated (approximately four years). Additional opportunities will expand into the Los Angeles metro areaKey ResponsibilitiesPerform post-installation QA inspections for aerial fiber constructionValidate builds by reviewing footage, sheath tick marks, and field conditionsVerify footage in/out and confirm construction accuracy against plansPatch and interpret strand maps provided by engineering teamsCollect detailed field data and documentation for project closeoutCapture and submit extensive photo documentation (50–100 poles per application)Review and reference construction drawings, CDs, Make Ready sheets, and network plansCoordinate field findings with internal teams to resolve discrepanciesEnsure compliance with applicable safety and construction standardsRequired Qualifications1–2 years of OSP construction experience (aerial required; underground/buried not applicable)Strong aerial construction and lineman backgroundExperience with post-build QA or field validationComfortable working as a road warrior in the fieldAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionExperience reviewing construction drawings and network documentationPreferred / Ideal ExperienceFTTH experience (2 years preferred)FlexNap experience (required)NESC experience (Texas work)GO 95 experience (California work; future phase)GIS experience (3GIS strongly preferred)Splicing experience (plus, not required)Additional RequirementsAbility to obtain and display required vehicle signage and identification badgesWillingness to travel within metro areas as neededStrong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
