NextGen is seeking a proactive and professional Operations Specialist/Information Technology (IT) Liaison to support day-to-day operations and administration for an Army customer. The candidate must possess demonstrated experience in operations support for an Army, DoD, or Government customer(s). Responsibilities include a broad range of tasks in multiple domains including but not limited to liaison duties between the primary customer and their higher echelon’s IT or “G6” staff. Responsible for representing the primary customer’s leadership in all IT related matters. Responsible for producing and reviewing technical documentation and making assessments and recommendations for leadership. Receiving and analyzing incoming requirements and taskers, route actions accordingly, and ensure completion and timeliness of responses. Ensure leadership awareness.Education/Experience:Bachelor's Degree requiredMinimum of 5 years of demonstrated relevant experience4 additional years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirementExperience working with Army, Joint Staff, and/or DoD organizations highly desiredSkills & Qualifications:Must hold an active Secret DoD clearance Must be able to provide guidance and subject matter knowledge regarding Army IT processes, procedures, and systems.Highly proficient with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to prepare and maintain briefings & presentations for leadershipProvide data gathering, research and analysis in support of various higher echelon IT related task assignments to the primary customerCoordinate, develop, and track responses for Requests for Information (RFI) from higher echelon or other government agenciesInformation Assurance experience and/or understanding is highly desired, especially related to ATOs, IATOs, RMF, DIACAPMust be comfortable and capable of interacting with senior level government officials and across directorates.Strong oral and written communication and organizational skillsHigh degree of attention to detail, flexible and responsive to changing requirements and prioritiesMust be self-motivated and have sound planning and organizational skills to perform a variety of different tasks concurrently in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment with minimal supervisionAbout NextGen:NextGen Federal Systems is an innovative technology and professional services provider specializing in advanced software solutions and comprehensive mission and business support services.
