Role Overview
NextGen Coding Company is supporting a partner outpatient psychiatric practice in the recruitment of a Patient Care Coordinator to support clinical operations and patient experience within a modern mental health setting.
The role is highly patient-facing and plays a central role in coordinating care delivery, supporting innovative treatment programs including Spravato (esketamine), and ensuring a seamless, professional experience for patients. The position serves as a bridge between patients, clinicians, and administrative workflows, maintaining operational efficiency and high-quality care standards.
Core Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming, calm, and professional environment for patients and visitors
- Serve as a primary point of contact for patients throughout the treatment process
- Provide in-office support during Spravato monitoring sessions in coordination with clinical staff
- Coordinate scheduling, patient flow, and daily clinic operations
- Support outreach and administrative initiatives to drive program growth
- Communicate with insurance providers to assist with authorization and verification workflows
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards
