An Investment Management Firm based in New York City is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as Head of Private Credit Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all operational functions across the platform
- Partner closely with deal teams to coordinate transaction timelines, including fundings and key milestones
- Manage trade settlement processes end-to-end
- Facilitate weekly pipeline meetings with senior leadership, including origination and credit teams, covering pipeline activity, approved deals, and closings
- Oversee liquidity management across the fund complex
- Manage leverage, including monitoring and optimization
- Coordinate and execute capital calls and investor distributions
- Support ongoing portfolio management activities
- Oversee deal allocation processes across funds and vehicles
- Monitor fund capacity and capital deployment
- Manage and track borrowing base requirements
- Lead the implementation and optimization of internal systems, including Allvue
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required
- 10–15 years of experience in credit operations, fund operations, or a related function
- Minimum of 5 years of experience within private credit or alternative asset management
- Strong understanding of credit products, including leveraged loans and structured credit instruments
- Proven experience supporting deal lifecycles, including fundings, settlements, and portfolio management
- Solid knowledge of fund structures, capital activity (capital calls/distributions), and liquidity management
- Experience with leverage, borrowing bases, and fund-level financing arrangements
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior stakeholders
Salary : $175,000 - $225,000
