Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and shipping inventory.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely updates to inventory systems.
- Supervise warehouse staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance to meet productivity goals.
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Provide input to the regional warehouse manager on hiring, performance reviews, and promotions.
- Execute established processes and procedures; responsible for ensuring team adherence rather than creating new protocols.
- Make independent decisions regarding warehouse operations, staffing schedules, and task prioritization within the location.
- Collaborate with the Regional Manager to communicate operational needs, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
- Train new employees on warehouse procedures and safety practices.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Drivers License and ability to met and maintain DOT requirements
- 3 years of experience in warehouse operations or a related field.
- Prior supervisory experience preferred.
- CDL
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
- Ability to manage manual labor tasks and lead by example.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Basic proficiency in inventory systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Effective communication skills for team guidance and reporting.
- Direct oversight of warehouse staff at the assigned location.
- Provide training, task delegation, and performance feedback.
- Input into staffing decisions, with final authority held by the Regional Manager.
- Primarily manual labor in a warehouse setting.
- Work involves lifting, standing, and operating equipment.
- Minimal travel; role is location-based.
