Under the general guidance from the Billing Supervisor and Central Services Manager, the Billing Specialist will process technician data for tech payroll/billing and materials for local service manager approval and final invoice processing. The Billing Specialist position is the key quality check point within the company, to ensure accuracy and completeness.

- Verify/enter transactions into system
- Verify accuracy of tech entered transactions
- Prepare invoices to be submitted to the customers.
- Submit prepared invoices for service manager approval
- Monitor work order status from for prompt processing
- Ensure all work is completed accurately in compliance with client specifications and company policies
- Other duties, as assigned
- Demonstrated stable and successful work experience in billing/and or customer service
- Extreme attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent computer proficiency
- Excellent ability to learn software
- 50 WPM typing
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and goals

- Proficient in Microsoft office and Excel
- Organized detailed and self-motivated
- Ability to multi-task and problem solve
- Works well in a team environment as well as independently
- Must demonstrate organization and prioritization skills to manage time
- Must be able to work overtime, as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree highly preferred.
- Prior Billing-related experience preferred.
- Experience in HVAC Industry or other service business preferred
- Continuously able to work in office environment
- Able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine, telephone, and computer printer.
