Become a Key Player as a Production Machine Operator 1
You will help the team meet production goals by operating and maintaining routine production machinery to produce parts that meet specifications. You will work onsite on a 1st shift schedule (Monday–Friday, 5:00am–1:30pm) alongside production and quality teams and may occasionally support variable schedules or additional hours as needed. Your work directly supports safe, efficient manufacturing and consistency in product quality.
Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
- Set up, operate, and perform routine maintenance on production machinery and test equipment
- Follow job travelers, blueprints, schematics, models, and specifications to complete assigned work
- Troubleshoot machines and implement solutions to restore peak performance
- Maintain adequate raw material stock and perform scheduled equipment maintenance
- Verify production items are within tolerances and meet documented specifications
- Use hand tools and precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers) to ensure product quality
- Collaborate with the production team to meet targets and quality standards
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned; maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
- 1–2 years of relevant experience operating machinery in a factory or industrial setting
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with lathes, milling machines, and stamping presses
- Knowledge of tooling and ability to work with a variety of materials
- Proficiency with hand tools and ability to perform basic maintenance tasks
- Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints
- Basic math proficiency and strong attention to detail
- Effective oral and written communication skills
Pay Range
$16.00 - $20.00/hour
