Duties
- Measure, cut, and install various types of siding materials including vinyl, fiber cement, metal, and stucco according to project specifications and technical drawings
- Interpret construction plans and blueprints to accurately execute siding installation tasks
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently to complete installations
- Ensure all work complies with construction safety regulations, including the proper use of safety harnesses, ladders, and scaffolding
- Perform roofing repairs and assist with related exterior work such as drywall, caulking, or stucco when needed
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents and injuries
- Lift heavy materials safely while maintaining proper posture and technique for heavy lifting tasks
Experience
- Prior experience in siding installation or related construction fields such as roofing, remodeling, or handyman work is highly preferred
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and interpreting technical drawings is a plus
- Familiarity with roofing types including metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, or tile laying enhances your versatility on site
- Hands-on experience with construction workplace safety regulations and the use of safety harnesses is essential
- Demonstrated ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining high-quality standards
- Experience with heavy lifting, drywall installation, concrete forming, fabrication, or metal stud framing is beneficial
- Strong understanding of construction site procedures combined with outdoor work experience ensures efficiency and safety on every project
