Next Steps Learning Center in Carver is seeking an energetic, compassionate, and dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our toddler team!

If you love helping curious toddlers explore their world and want to work in a positive, supportive environment — we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with creating and implementing fun, developmentally appropriate lesson plans
• Help maintain a bright, organized classroom that inspires curiosity and learning
• Build strong, caring relationships with children and families
• Support communication between teachers and parents to ensure each child’s success
• Follow all DCYF Rule 3 and state licensing requirements
• Assist with diapering, feeding, nap time, and daily routines
• Help keep the classroom clean, safe, and ready for learning

What We’re Looking For

• DCYF Rule 3 qualified (required)
• Previous experience working with young children (center-based preferred)
• CPR, First Aid, SIDS, and Shaken Baby certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• A gentle, patient, and positive personality
• Dependable and team-oriented
• Ability to lift, bend, and sit on the floor during play and activities
