Duties

• Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities, including setting up materials and organizing learning stations.

• Provide individualized attention to students with special needs or disabilities, including those with autism or other developmental challenges.
• Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment by following health and safety protocols.
• Help manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective classroom management strategies.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share updates on student progress and classroom events.

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, private school, or similar settings is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles, including Montessori or toddler care methodologies.
• Familiarity with special education practices, behavior management, and working with individuals with disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and students.
• Ability to assist in lesson planning for literacy education, math activities, and curriculum development tailored to various age groups.
• Demonstrated classroom experience supporting diverse learners in inclusive environments.
