- Receive, process, and enter prescription orders accurately into RX30
- Prepare, package, label, and dispense medications under pharmacist supervision.
- Refill and prepare medications for scheduled deliveries to long-term care facilities.
- Assist with medication returns, credits, and destruction procedures in accordance with regulations.
- Communicate professionally with nurses, physicians, facility staff, patients, and caregivers regarding medication requests and order clarifications.
- Manage inventory levels, stock medications, and monitor expiration dates.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies related to pharmacy operations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of pharmacy activities.
- Support quality assurance initiatives and participate in inventory audits.
- Assist pharmacists with prior authorizations, billing issues, and insurance claims when applicable.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current Pharmacy Technician registration/certification as required by state regulations.
- Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred; long-term care pharmacy experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of pharmacy terminology, medication names, and dosage forms.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with RX30
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Working Conditions
- Pharmacy environment serving long-term care facilities.
- No weekends
- Frequent interaction with healthcare professionals and facility personnel.
Preferred Experience
- 1–2 years of pharmacy technician experience.
- Experience in long-term care or closed-door pharmacy settings is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with unit-dose packaging systems and medication dispensing technologies.
Salary Range: Based on experience and certification(s)
Open to traveling a longer distance- Our current location is in Ridge Spring SC but plan to relocate to Augusta SC by the end of the year
