We’re hiring a Network Technician to support commercial projects in the Waco area. This is a hands-on role focused on structured cabling, low voltage systems, and network troubleshooting. 🔧 What You’ll Do:
• Install, terminate, and test Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6A cabling and low voltage systems (security, access control, AV)
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and equipment failures
• Use testing tools (Fluke testers, tone generators, multimeters) to ensure system performance and quality
✅ What You Bring:
• 2 years of low voltage or network cabling experience
• Knowledge of TIA/EIA-568 standards and ability to read blueprints
• Experience with cable testing equipment and hand/power tools
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work in the field: lifting 50 lbs, heights, confined spaces, and outdoor environments
🎯 Bonus Points:
• CompTIA Network , BICSI Installer 1/2, or manufacturer certifications
• Experience with fiber, AV systems, or advanced troubleshooting
