Next Level Technician is hiring an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead the full conveyance scope on a large-scale mission-critical construction project.
This is a true Superintendent role — not a tools-on position. You’ll own the field operation, including manpower, production, scheduling, QA/QC, documentation, and coordination with the General Contractor.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee the entire conveyance scope from mobilization through completion
- Lead multiple Leads, Technicians, and field crews
- Manage daily manpower, labor allocation, and resources
- Plan and sequence work across multiple work fronts
- Coordinate directly with the GC and other trades
- Lead daily field planning and establish clear production goals
- Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and pathway layouts
- Own field production and project milestones
- Monitor installation quality and lead QA/QC
- Identify schedule risks, constraints, and conflicts before they impact production
- Coordinate field issue resolution with PMs, Leads, the GC, and other trades
- Participate in daily GC coordination meetings
- Maintain accurate field documentation
- Hold field leadership accountable for safety, quality, productivity, and documentation
📱 Digital Construction Management — REQUIRED
Strong digital construction management experience is a must.
You should be proficient with PlanGrid and Procore and comfortable managing project information directly from a tablet in the field.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Verifying the current drawing revision before releasing work
- Ensuring crews are never working from superseded drawings
- Managing RFIs and constraint items
- Red-lining drawings as field conditions change
- Keeping as-builts current as work progresses
- Adding drawing markups and supporting field photos
- Tracking and closing punch-list and constraint items
- Maintaining accurate documentation of completed work
- Communicating project changes and expectations to field leadership
Requirements
- Proven Superintendent-level experience on large-scale commercial, industrial, data center, or mission-critical projects
- Data center or major industrial/commercial construction experience required
- Strong understanding of conveyance and pathway installations
- Experience managing multiple Leads and field crews
- Strong manpower planning and labor allocation experience
- Ability to interpret complex construction drawings and specifications
- Proven scheduling, sequencing, and production management experience
- Strong QA/QC background
- PlanGrid and Procore proficiency required
- Comfortable working from a tablet and managing digital documentation daily
- Experience with RFIs, constraint logs, red-lines, as-builts, and punch-list management
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience working in a GC-led construction environment
- Comfortable coordinating alongside multiple trades
Attention to detail matters. Making sure crews are working from the latest drawings and that as-builts and field documentation stay current is critical to protecting the project schedule and budget.
Salary : $65,000 - $100,000
