Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals with developmental disabilities, assisting them in daily living activities and promoting their independence. 15 hours/week

Schedule is as follows: Saturday and Sunday
- Saturday 9 am - 7 pm or 10 am - 8 pm HPC care and community based care
- Sunday 9 am - 2 pm HPC care
Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Provide patient monitoring and observation to ensure safety and well-being.
- Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, including medication administration and vital signs monitoring.
- Support clients in community integration and social activities, fostering independence.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment through regular cleaning and organization of shared spaces.
- Document client progress and any changes in condition while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is preferred.
- Background in caregiving, home health, assisted living, or long-term care is advantageous.
- Up to date DSP certificate is required
- Up to date First Aid and CPR certification is required
- Familiarity with patient care techniques including heavy lifting and patient observation is essential.
- Ability to prepare meals that meet dietary restrictions as needed.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Highschool Diploma/G.E.D is required
- Must be 18 years old
- Valid drivers license and valid car insurance
- Background and drug check required
