Description: SUMMARYThe Outbound Supervisor is responsible for the efficient operation of the Outbound department and will play a key role in the accurate and timely delivery of products to our customers. Responsibilities include proper staffing utilization, effective use of standard operating procedures, ensuring shipping times are met, communicating tracking information, and reinforcing policies related to safe, productive operations. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES• Manage the workflow of picking team, create team schedules, set goals, and delegate tasks.• Assess the work performance of picking team members and identifying areas that need improvement.• Ensure that business goals, deadlines and performance standards are met.• Train new hires to ensure they follow standard operating procedures.• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure SOPs are followed as it pertains to preparing and distributing pick lists to order fillers, completing and distributing pack list and shipping labels, and completing the shipment with the BOL's.• Achieve accuracy of shipments by ensuring that pick lists are correct, and order fillers follow SOPs in verifying and documenting that units pulled match the order requirements• Ensure that all unit bar codes are correctly scanned and identified per SOPs and all records are uploaded accordingly.• Ensure all freight is marked and identified; ensure that truckload carriers complete, and sign required documents.• Manage and investigate all daily shipping discrepancies and implement corrective measures.• Schedule truckload carriers to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective mode of shipment.• Oversee the preparation and shipment of UPS orders per standard work requirements.• Collaborate with production scheduling and production management regarding production schedules to meet ship dates. Modify ship dates when needed to ensure customers are notified of changes in schedules.• Collaborate with Customer Service regarding scheduled ship dates, inventory availability, and expedite requests.• Provide effective leadership including managing the development of employees, recognizing and appreciating employee contributions, mitigating conflict and communication issues, planning and facilitating team activities, and motivating members of the functional area.• Ensure security of the building, which includes responsibility for securing doors and gates and engaging automated security system.• Meet all internal control requirements that pertain to the receiving, warehousing, and shipping functions.• Responsible for safety of all team members and making sure that they follow all safety procedures and wear all safety equipment.• Perform order maintenance in the ERP system, including reviewing and addressing open deliveries, closing open line items, changing mixed shipping points.• Manage Bill & Hold orders for later shipments, which involves special tagging and shipping steps.• Ensure damaged product and duplicated/canceled conversion units are sent back to manufacturing to be returned to sellable condition.• Complete daily, weekly and monthly reports relevant to KPI's for the outbound department and conduct GEMBA walks daily.• Follow company policies and practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or applicable employment agreement. Follows safety guidelines and procedures in accordance with the job.• Perform additional duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent specific experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or inventory management.
- Intermediate experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
- Strong analytical, leadership, technical, problem solving, time-management, and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Advanced knowledge of shipping truckloads and UPS shipments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics or related discipline
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) ERP system
- Bilingual Spanish
