About NEXT Industries
Next Industries is more than an industrial supplier. We are manufacturing, technical, and engineering experts focused on streamlining the supply chain for our customers. For three generations, we have partnered with customers to reduce costs, minimize downtime, and support their evolving operational needs through product expertise, inventory management, and service solutions.
Our success is driven by our people. We value accuracy, accountability, collaboration, and a customer-focused mindset.
Where You’ll Start
This role begins on our Quotation Team, where you’ll build a strong foundation in our products, systems, and processes. It’s the ideal entry point to learn the business, gain hands-on experience, and position yourself for future growth within the company.
What You’ll Do (Your Impact Starts Here)
Your initial focus will be on product identification—learning how to match customer needs with the right industrial products. From there, you’ll play a key role in supporting our sales team and customers by building accurate, timely quotes.
You’ll be the person who ensures everything is right the first time—pricing, specs, and details—helping us deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Day-to-day, you will:
- Review customer requests, specifications, and drawings to identify the correct products
- Build accurate, detailed quotes using Excel and internal systems
- Partner with sales, purchasing, and vendors to gather pricing and availability
- Keep pricing data current and organized
- Track and follow up on quotes to support successful sales outcomes
- Maintain clean, accurate records in internal systems (we’ll train you!)
- Help improve processes, reporting, and efficiency over time
- Deliver responsive, detail-oriented customer support throughout the quoting process
What Makes You a Great Fit
We’re looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with data—especially in Excel.
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
- Strong Excel skills (comfortable working with data, organizing information, and ensuring accuracy)
- Exceptional attention to detail—you catch what others miss
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- A proactive mindset and willingness to learn
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
Background we’re looking for:
- High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree is a plus
- Experience in customer service, data entry, quoting, or sales support is helpful—but not required
What We’ll Teach You
You don’t need prior experience in industrial products or systems—we’ll train you.
- Industrial product knowledge (tools, fasteners, MRO, safety equipment, etc.)
- ERP and CRM systems (such as Epicor, SAP, Salesforce)
- Our quoting process, pricing structure, and internal workflows
Why Join NEXT Industries?
