Recruiter Responsibilities
This is a Hospitality Recruiting position, in an office environment. In this position, you will be responsible for Full Desk recruiting for all Hospitality personnel.
Job Duties:
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with hotel and resort management teams.
- Manage full-cycle recruiting efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and placing candidates for hospitality roles.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure staffing satisfaction and address client needs.
- Maintain an active pipeline of qualified candidates for a variety of positions.
- Handle on-boarding processes including new hire paperwork, orientation scheduling, and compliance tracking.
- Resolve client and employee concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking and client management systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop creative recruitment strategies tailored to client needs.
- Implement company culture, values, and policies.
- Provide management with requested reports and documents.
- Utilize job boards and social media platforms.
- Some payroll duties.
Account Manager/Recruiter Qualifications:
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Previous experience in hospitality staffing, account management, or recruiting. (1-2 years preferred).
- Strong understanding of hotel and resort operations.
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities (especially Spanish) are a strong plus.
- Ability to build trust and credibility with clients and candidates.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel between client sites as needed.
- Must reside on or be willing to relocate to the Big Island, Hawaii.
- Reliable transportation.
- Knowledge of labor and employment laws, or ability to learn labor laws.
- Flexible schedule.
