We’re hiring for an Executive Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping department at a modern, high-volume property. This is an incredible opportunity to step into a key leadership role at an upscale property where service excellence is expected and recognized.
As Executive Housekeeper, you will be responsible for the overall success of the housekeeping department, managing operations with a focus on cleanliness, efficiency, team leadership, and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate brings prior experience, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to lead and inspire a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
Salary: $70,000-75,000
Executive Housekeeper Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage daily housekeeping operations to ensure all guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas meet high cleanliness and brand standards.
- Hire, train, schedule, and supervise housekeeping staff while fostering a positive, productive work environment.
- Conduct routine inspections and walk-throughs to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to quality control expectations.
- Implement and maintain housekeeping procedures in accordance with company policies and brand standards.
- Monitor and maintain supply inventories, placing timely orders for linens, cleaning products, and equipment.
- Work collaboratively with departments including Front Office, Engineering, and Guest Services to ensure operational alignment and guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints related to housekeeping promptly and professionally.
- Ensure proper record-keeping and compliance with safety and cleanliness regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a housekeeping leadership role, preferably in a full-service or luxury hotel environment.
- Hyatt property experience highly preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards, cleaning procedures, and equipment.
- Must be flexible to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.
