Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and sanitizing bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, dining spaces, and recreational facilities by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and organizing.
• Handle floor care tasks including stripping, waxing, buffing, and deep cleaning of various flooring surfaces to preserve their appearance and safety.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and cleaning products to ensure availability for guests and staff.
• Follow established safety procedures during cleaning activities and operate janitorial equipment responsibly.
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold safety standards.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to cleaning procedures, chemical handling, and sanitation practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning or custodial roles within hospitality or industrial settings is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including stripping, waxing, polishing, and carpet cleaning.
• Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality environments is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of janitorial practices with the ability to perform detailed cleaning tasks efficiently.
• Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
