Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of banquet rooms, including arranging tables, chairs, and equipment according to event specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas before, during, and after events.
- Support serving staff by replenishing supplies and assisting with food and beverage service as needed.
- Ensure all banquet equipment and supplies are properly stored and accounted for after events.
- Respond promptly to requests from banquet and catering staff during events to support smooth operations.
- Monitor and report any maintenance or safety issues in banquet areas to management.
- Assist in the transportation of items such as linens, dishware, and decorations to and from event locations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in banquet, hospitality, or event support preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items, including tables and chairs, frequently throughout shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and order.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
