Salary: $64,000 - $69,000 annually
Asst. Director of Finance Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
- Lead the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Develop and manage annual budgets and monthly forecasts in partnership with department leaders.
- Provide timely financial analysis and recommendations to support busi0ness objectives.
- Monitor cash flow, revenue trends, and expense control to optimize operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and corporate accounting policies.
- Supervise, train, and mentor finance team members to enhance skills and performance.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring documentation is accurate and readily available.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting procedures.
- Partner closely with operations and sales teams to assess the financial impact of initiatives.
Asst. Director of Finance Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- 5 years of progressive finance/accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role—hospitality experience strongly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Proficiency with financial systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
