Position Summary
We are looking for an EFDA who is dependable, compassionate, and committed to providing excellent patient care. The ideal candidate enjoys working closely with patients, takes pride in high-quality restorative work, and values being part of a positive team.
The EFDA will work closely with the dentist to provide efficient, high-quality restorative care. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, clinically skilled, and passionate about patient care. This position offers the opportunity to practice at the top of your license in a collaborative and positive work environment. Our hours are 8:00-4:00 Monday to Thursday.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
- Place and contour restorative materials as permitted by state regulations
- Perform coronal polishing, sealants, and other expanded functions within certification guidelines
- Take digital radiographs and intraoral images
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain infection control standards
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Manage instrument sterilization and operatory turnover
- Support efficient patient flow and a positive patient experience
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure high-quality care
Qualifications
- Current EFDA certification/license
- CPR certification
- Experience in general dentistry preferred
- Strong restorative and clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience with digital radiography and electronic dental records
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 years of EFDA experience
- Experience with digital scanners and modern dental technology
- Familiarity with Open Dental software
- Experience in a fast-paced general dental practice
Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
