Next Gen Living, a property management company in Conroe, is looking for a reliable, self-motivated maintenance technician to help maintain our rental properties. You'll handle a variety of hands-on tasks across our duplex units and other properties. Hours vary week to week based on workload — great fit for someone looking for steady part-time work with flexibility.
Responsibilities:
- Perform minor repairs and general maintenance at duplex units (drywall patching, painting, fixture repairs, door/lock repairs, etc.)
- Yard work and grounds upkeep — mowing, trimming, cleanup
- Fence repair and installation
- Make-ready work between tenants (cleaning, touch-ups, minor repairs)
- Miscellaneous odd jobs as assigned
Requirements:
- General handyman/maintenance experience (residential preferred)
- Own reliable transportation
- Own basic hand tools (larger equipment provided as needed)
- Able to work independently and complete tasks without close supervision
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in Texas weather
- Must pass a background check
Preferred (not required):
- Experience with rental properties or make-readies
- Basic plumbing or electrical knowledge
- Fence-building experience
