Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid 3 days in office)

Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Experience working with builds and deployments across various programming languages such as Java, Node.js, and Python; experience with .NET and Go source code is a plus.
• Experience with GitHub Actions and GitHub Enterprise Administration.
• Experience working with self-hosted runners on GitHub Enterprise Cloud (GHEC).
• Experience with creation and management of GitHub Apps at the enterprise level.
• Experience working with enterprise-standard GitHub workflows and reusable workflows.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or Java for automation tasks.
• Experience working with GitHub Advanced Security tooling (GHAS).
• Demonstrable knowledge of the enterprise Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including domain knowledge in one or more of the following:
• Source Control Management (SCM), including Git and GitHub workflows, and the value of DevOps and DevSecOps.
• Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., GitHub Actions) for continuous integration and deployment practices.
• Manages and maintains GitHub Actions, including self-hosted runners, autoscaling, secure execution environments, and workflow orchestration.
• Proficiency in managing Kubernetes clusters using tools such as kubectl, Rancher, and Helm.
• Administers, maintains, and monitors Kubernetes clusters and hardware infrastructure.
• Designs and manages Kubernetes cluster layout, resources, and storage.
• Monitors and optimizes Kubernetes resources, such as pods, nodes, and namespaces.

Qualifications

• 6 years of overall experience in GHES administration, with deep expertise in GitHub Actions, self-hosted runners, and microservices architecture.
• Strong scripting, API integration, and automation skills (GitHub REST/GraphQL APIs, GitHub CLI, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes).
• Experience with GHES upgrade planning, disaster recovery, replication, and internal service optimizations.
• Cloud expertise (GitHub Cloud, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps security best practices.
• Total experience: 6–12 years.
