Required Skills & Experience
- Professional software engineering experience with application development
- Strong background with Node.js and JavaScript or similar application development technologies
- Experience working in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or related roles
- Hands-on experience deploying applications into Kubernetes environments
- Experience working with cloud-native infrastructure and services
- Strong Linux and Unix administration experience
- Experience with shell scripting and automation
- Programming or scripting experience with Python, JavaScript, or similar languages
- Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with infrastructure automation or Infrastructure as Code practices
- Ability to collaborate effectively across development and infrastructure teams
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and technology evaluation skills
- Production experience with Node.js and JavaScript
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or another major cloud platform
- Experience with managed Kubernetes services such as AKS
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools
- Experience supporting containerized Linux applications
- Background working with microservices architectures
- Experience with RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, or similar messaging platforms
- Experience migrating applications or infrastructure from on-premises environments to the cloud
- Experience with GitHub and/or Azure DevOps
- Experience helping engineering teams adopt new technologies and development practices
