Duties
- Respond promptly to rental inquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing detailed information about available units and rental policies
- Coordinate rental reservations, ensuring accurate data entry into management systems using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Conduct inventory management by tracking equipment or unit availability, maintaining accurate records of rentals and returns
- Assist customers at the front desk with questions, payments, and paperwork while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Promote rental options through persuasive public speaking and marketing techniques to maximize sales opportunities
- Negotiate rental terms with clients to meet their needs while adhering to company policies
- Support maintenance and cleaning schedules for rental units or equipment to ensure quality standards are met
Experience
- Previous administrative experience or retail sales background preferred, demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability in outside sales or retail sales environments with excellent communication skills
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Familiarity with inventory control systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, and data entry processes is essential
