At Nexsentio, our Associate, HR Business Partner will be a key member of our HR team, helping us drive HR initiatives that align with the company’s goals and support our amazing employees. You’ll work closely with leadership and employees across all levels to ensure smooth HR operations and foster an environment where people feel valued and supported. Whether you're assisting with recruitment, handling employee relations issues, or supporting performance management, you’ll help shape our company culture and create a great employee experience.
Big Picture:
- Manager workers compensation, leave of absence, and accommodation administration.
- Partner with hiring managers to manage recruitment, support onboarding, and contribute to coaching and employee development programs.
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, resolve employee relations issues, and support conflict resolution to maintain a positive work environment.
- Assist with performance reviews, track employee performance, and help implement recognition programs to enhance engagement.
- Contribute to HR programs to improve employee engagement, track employee data, and support training initiatives aligned with company goals.
- Maintain employee records, assist with life cycle events like promotions and separations, and contribute to improving HR processes.
Day-to-Day:
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and assist with job postings, candidate screenings, and interview coordination.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
- Help with talent management programs, leadership development, career progression, & succession planning.
- Be a point of contact for employees inquiries regarding company policies, HR processes, and employment laws.
- Help resolve employee relations issues and create a positive, productive work environment.
- Assist with the execution of HR programs to improve employee engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are communicated clearly and employment laws are consistently followed.
- Support the implementation of employee recognition programs to boost engagement.
- Stay on top of employment laws and regulations, ensuring the company remains compliant.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring data integrity and compliance with legal requirements.
- Assist with employee life cycle events, including transfers, promotions, and separations.
- Attend meetings with managers to ensure alignment on HR priorities and company needs.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in Human Resources or relevant work experience with education or certifications.
- Solid understanding of HR practices, including workers compensation administration, leave of absence and accommodation administration, recruitment, performance management, and employee relations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech-savvy with experience using HRIS systems, Google Suite, Slack, and other tools.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Preferred Education, Certifications, or Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field a plus.
- HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR is a plus.
- Ability to speak Spanish and English preferred for this role.
Physical Demands:
- Occasional travel by car or plane for business needs.
- Extended periods of technology use (computer, phone, etc.)
- Ability to walk around operational facilities and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to sit or stand at a desk for prolonged periods as part of daily tasks.
- Ability to travel to remote office locations as needed, with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

The annual base salary for an at-will 40 hour, exempt Associate, Human Resources Business Partner in the facilities services industry typically ranges from $64,302 and $81,927, depending on experience and qualifications.
