The Payroll Analyst will review payroll reports for accuracy, reconcile discrepancies, and collaborate with accounting and HR to resolve payroll-related issues. The role also involves maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws, supporting audits, and providing clear guidance to internal stakeholders on payroll policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Strong payroll administration skills, including end-to-end payroll processing and data management.
- Experience with garnishments and payroll taxes, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant regulations.
- Solid accounting knowledge and analytical skills to reconcile payroll data and identify variances.
- Proficiency with payroll software and MS Excel; ability to work with large data sets and reports.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience as a Payroll Analyst or in a similar payroll-focused role; experience with US payroll is preferred.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is beneficial.
