We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Area Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial or industrial cleaning, custodial tasks, and facilities maintenance. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as buffers and floor care machines.
- Maintain cleanliness of all assigned areas by sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment during all cleaning activities.
- Support additional custodial duties as needed to uphold facility standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in janitorial services, custodial work, or related facilities maintenance roles.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable work ethic with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Must provide cleaning supplies - broom, vacuum, all purpose cleaner, glass cleaner, toilet cleaner (no bleach)
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
