Janitor

Job Overview
The Happy Janitor is a growing commercial cleaning company based in Southeast Missouri. We specialize in factory, office, and floor care services. We are hiring a reliable and motivated cleaner to maintain cleanliness in a local factory environment. This position focuses on daily janitorial tasks including restrooms,break areas, office areas and floor care. This is a steady, long term opportunity with consistent hours and paid holidays off. Experience with cleaning or being in a factory setting is helpful but not required. Training will be provided!

Schedule: Monday Through Friday. 5am-2pm. 1 hour lunch.

Duties

• Clean and disinfect restrooms (toilets, urinals, sinks, floors)
• Sweep and mop floors in production and common areas
• Run an autoscrubber occasionally
• Refill paper products and soap dispensers
• Clean breakrooms, tables, and surfaces
• Take out trash and maintain cleanliness throughout shift
• Perform touch-up cleaning at end of shift
• Follow cleaning schedules and company standards

Experience

• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience ( NOT REQUIRED)
• Experience with floor equipment (autoscrubbers, buffer)( NOT REQUIRED)

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
