Medical Receptionist

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
• Manage any incoming/ outgoing phone calls with professionalism, while addressing inquiries or transferring to the appropriate department.
• Schedule patient appointment for NexGen services
• Assist with patient intake by collecting insurance information, IDs, and any other neccessary new patient docments.
• Update and maintain accurate patient records and documentation, and is securely stored in compliance wit HIPAA.
• Collect copayments
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient care and office management.
• Utilize electronic health record systems such as eCW for patient management tasks.

• Work Schedule:
• • Mon. - Thurs: 9am - 7pm in North Bergen, NJ
  • Alternating Fridays: 9am - 5pm in Paramus, NJ
• Hourly Rate: Min: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
• This role requires occasional travel to other offices based on coverage needs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred
