Role Overview
The Franchise Development Manager will oversee the recruitment and onboarding of new franchise partners. This role is responsible for nurturing leads, managing Discovery Days, ensuring smooth movement through the pipeline, and driving NexGen’s franchise expansion. The ideal candidate will have experience in franchise sales, preferably in boutique fitness or a related service-based franchise brand.
What You’ll Do
· Own the entire franchise lead lifecycle, from initial inquiry to signed agreement.
· Manage the franchise development pipeline and ensure timely follow-up at each stage.
· Conduct discovery calls and coordinate Discovery Days with prospective franchisees.
· Build and maintain relationships with franchise broker networks and referral partners.
· Collaborate with marketing to generate qualified leads and refine lead-generation campaigns.
· Prepare and present brand materials, financial overviews, and business cases to candidates.
· Track KPIs for pipeline movement, close rates, and source effectiveness.
· Identify and implement new tools, platforms, and processes to optimize sales performance.
· Represent NexGen Fitness at franchise expos, industry events, and networking opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
· 3 to 5 years of experience in franchise sales, franchise development, or multi-unit expansion.
· Proven track record of managing the entire sales cycle with consistent closing success.
· Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
· Familiarity with franchise broker networks and franchise development best practices.
· Experience in boutique fitness or service-based franchising strongly preferred.
· Highly organized with CRM and pipeline management experience.
· Willingness to travel for Discovery Days, events, and networking.
