Truck Fleet Dispatcher | Henderson, NV

Nexeo Staffing is hiring a Truck Fleet Dispatcher to oversee transportation operations for a high-volume distribution facility in Henderson, NV. This role is responsible for dispatching commercial truck drivers, monitoring DOT Hours of Service compliance, managing route adjustments, and coordinating transportation activity in a fast-paced logistics environment. Experience with trucking operations, fleet dispatch, ELD/telematics systems, and transportation compliance is required.

This is a transportation truck-dispatch role, not a service dispatcher or administrative coordinator position. Applicants must have experience dispatching commercial truck drivers and working with DOT Hours of Service regulations.

This position is ideal for experienced transportation professionals who thrive in fast-paced logistics environments, communicate effectively with drivers and operations teams, and can make real-time decisions to keep deliveries moving safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch and coordinate 10-15 commercial truck drivers per shift
• Build, adjust, and manage daily delivery routes to meet service and delivery timelines
• Communicate assignments, route changes, updates, and expectations with drivers and warehouse teams
• Monitor route progress and proactively resolve delays, breakdowns, scheduling conflicts, and service disruptions
• Ensure compliance with DOT Hours of Service (HOS) regulations and company safety standards
• Track driver activity, equipment utilization, and route performance using TMS, ELD, telematics, and fleet management systems
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, transportation records, and operational documentation
• Coordinate with safety, maintenance, warehouse, and transportation leadership to maintain efficient fleet operations
• Respond quickly to changing priorities and operational needs while maintaining service levels

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience dispatching commercial truck drivers in a transportation, trucking, logistics, or fleet environment
• Experience managing 10-15 drivers and trucks simultaneously
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service requirements
• Experience using TMS, ELD, telematics, routing, or fleet management software
• Strong Excel skills and ability to maintain accurate operational records
• Excellent multitasking and decision-making skills in time-sensitive environments
• Strong communication skills with drivers, warehouse teams, and management
• High attention to detail and organizational skills 
  • Preferred: Experience with Samsara, Geotab, Motive, or similar telematics platforms
  • Preferred: Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Preferred: Experience working in distribution, transportation, or trucking operations
  • Preferred: Knowledge of truck and trailer operations

Pay

$24.00 per hour

Schedule

Full Time | Friday-Sunday | 6:00 AM-6:00 PM
