Superintendent – Commercial Construction | Las Vegas, NV
Nexeo Staffing is hiring a Superintendent for a company specializing in commercial construction, tenant improvements, commercial renovations, facility maintenance, and ground-up construction projects. We're looking for an experienced construction professional who can lead jobsites, coordinate subcontractors, maintain schedules, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and with quality workmanship. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being in the field, solving problems, and keeping commercial construction projects moving from start to finish.
Responsibilities
• Open, manage, and secure active construction jobsites.
• Coordinate daily activities of subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Maintain project schedules and monitor progress to keep construction projects on track.
• Conduct jobsite safety meetings and enforce OSHA safety standards.
• Inspect work for quality and ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Order, track, and coordinate materials and deliveries.
• Lead subcontractor and foreman meetings.
• Coordinate inspections and work closely with inspectors and regulatory agencies.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and property owners.
• Resolve field issues and keep commercial construction projects moving efficiently.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, job logs, and project documentation.
• Ensure tenant improvement, renovation, and ground-up construction projects are completed safely and on schedule.
Qualifications
• 5–10 years of commercial construction experience.
• Previous experience as a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Foreman, Lead Carpenter, Construction Supervisor, or similar leadership role.
• Experience managing commercial construction projects such as office buildings, retail centers, tenant improvements, restaurants, coffee shops, convenience stores, commercial remodels, and ground-up construction.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and construction documents.
• Knowledge of commercial building codes, inspections, and permitting requirements.
• Experience with construction scheduling, project coordination, and quality control.
• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices.
• Knowledge of concrete, steel, framing, MEP systems, and finish trades.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and maintain productivity on active jobsites.
• Ability to walk jobsites for extended periods, climb ladders and stairs, lift up to 50 pounds, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Pay
$74,000 per year
Schedule
Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
