Responsibilities

• Time Entry & Data Management: Review and input temporary staff hours and pay rates into payroll systems
• Collaborate: Communicate with operational branches to verify and correct payroll submissions, ensuring error-free processing
• Payroll Accuracy: Accurately process payroll for assigned operational branches according to established schedules
• Error Resolution: Identify and promptly correct any data discrepancies to ensure payroll accuracy
• Check Deposits: Organize and manage daily check deposits to the bank
• Adhere to Payroll Procedures: Follow established payroll procedures and suggest process improvements where applicable
• Ad Hoc: Work on additional projects and other payroll-related responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in payroll, particularly within a high-volume staffing agency (a plus, but not required)
• Proficient in working on a computer and using Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Teams, and MS Excel
• Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with and navigate databases or proprietary systems
• Desire to automate, streamline, and document payroll processes for efficiency
• Strong customer service orientation for internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality
• Proven ability to process high volumes of payroll data accurately under strict deadlines
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and handle multiple payroll cycles simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with payroll tax regulations, labor laws, and compliance requirements for multi-state or large-scale payroll operations
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with HR, operations, and finance teams

Pay

 $19.00 – $23.00 per hour

Schedule

Full Time | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Monday – Friday
