Nexeo HR is hiring dependable, detail-oriented Pack-Out Technicians in Smithfield, Utah. This hands-on role is perfect for individuals who take pride in helping others and enjoy physically active, meaningful work. As a Pack-Out Technician, you’ll carefully remove, clean, and restore personal belongings from homes and businesses impacted by fire, flood, or other disasters. Each day brings something new — from inventorying heirlooms to restoring items with care and precision — all while supporting clients as they recover and rebuild.

Responsibilities

• Travel to homes and commercial properties to pack, recover, and transport personal belongings.

• Create detailed digital inventories to track and organize items for storage and restoration.

• Clean, restore, and handle furniture, antiques, electronics, photos, and household goods.

• Load, unload, and organize contents safely for storage or delivery.

• Maintain and clean restoration equipment and workspaces.

• Provide professional, compassionate service to clients during stressful situations.

• Participate in an on-call rotation, including some weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods (8–12 hours).

• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation.

• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

• No felonies or misdemeanors related to violence, theft, or fraud.

• English-speaking (bilingual preferred).

• Prior construction or restoration experience a plus.

• Forklift or cube truck experience preferred.

• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork.

Pay

$16.00 – $20.00 per hour

Schedule

Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM | On-call rotation including some weekends
