Middleware Engineer | Midvale, UT
Nexeo Staffing is seeking a skilled Middleware Engineer to join an innovative team focused on modernizing enterprise data and integration platforms. This role offers the opportunity to design, develop, and support scalable integration services using modern cloud, API, messaging, and container technologies. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support data and integration services.
- Build and maintain API, middleware, and messaging solutions that support enterprise applications.
- Develop solutions using technologies such as Apigee Hybrid, Python, PySpark, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Support cloud modernization initiatives and continuous delivery practices.
- Implement automation and monitoring solutions to improve system reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure integration services.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
- Evaluate and explore practical applications of AI to improve development, support, and operational processes.
- Participate in periodic on-call support and incident response activities.
- Contribute to technical documentation, code reviews, and process improvement initiatives.
- Work within a SAFe Agile framework to deliver high-quality solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in software engineering, middleware development, integration services, or data engineering.
- Hands-on experience with one or more of the following technologies:
- Apigee
- Python
- PySpark
- Kafka
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- Knowledge of API management, event-driven architectures, and integration best practices.
- Experience working with cloud platforms and modern DevOps methodologies.
- Familiarity with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and continuous delivery practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile environment.
- Comfortable participating in periodic on-call support rotations.
- Passion for learning emerging technologies and identifying opportunities for innovation.
Pay
$69.00 per hour
Schedule
Full Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
