Nexeo Staffing is looking for a Material Handler swing shift with Reach Truck to support a global logistics and supply chain company’s high-tech data center in Henderson, Nevada. This position is ideal for an experienced warehouse professional with reach truck experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced distribution environment. The Material Handler will be responsible for safely handling freight, organizing materials, maintaining accurate shipment documentation, and supporting efficient warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight from trucks, trailers, and containers.
• Safely operate a reach truck to move and organize materials.
• Sort and organize freight according to size, destination, and priority.
• Interpret freight codes to ensure materials are handled and routed correctly.
• Verify driver manifests, shipping documents, and shipment information for accuracy.
• Label, weigh, and measure freight for inventory and shipping purposes.
• Identify, document, and report damaged or misrouted shipments.
• Perform basic computer data entry and inventory tracking.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Follow established warehouse safety procedures and best practices.

Qualifications

• Previous reach truck operating experience is required.
• A valid reach truck certification is required before starting the position. Candidates may interview without having a copy of their certification and may have the opportunity to complete a certification test through Nexeo.
• Candidates must complete a reach truck skills test and achieve a passing score of at least 80%.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems, including ERP or WMS software, is preferred.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.
• Basic math skills for counting, weighing, and measuring inventory.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and accurately complete warehouse documentation.

Pay

$19.00 per hour

Schedule

Full Time | Thursday-Sunday | 9:00 AM - 6:00PM
