Human Resources Manager | Plaistow, NH

Nexeo Staffing is seeking an experienced Human Resource Manager to join the team of our client, a growing electronics manufacturing company in Plaistow, NH. This role works closely with the leadership team to cultivate a productive work environment while providing thought leadership and collaboration to achieve positive organizational outcomes. The position reports to the Director Human Resources and serves as a member of the site leadership team. Your contributions will help us continue our journey towards Winning as One: One company. This role offers a unique opportunity to help build and shape the HR foundation for a growing manufacturing operation. The facility is expanding its capabilities and workforce, and the HR Manager will play a key role in developing the people strategy that supports that growth.

Responsibilities

• Support all major HR functions including payroll, benefits administration, recruitment, employee relations, and policy interpretation
• Manage payroll processes and support compensation and benefits administration with accuracy and compliance
• Administer FMLA, Workers’ Compensation, STD/LTD, and other leave programs
• Support annual open enrollment and employee benefits communication initiatives
• Conduct employee relations investigations and partner with leadership to support fair and compliant resolutions
• Recruit, interview, and onboard employees for open positions
• Conduct new hire orientations and employee offboarding activities
• Maintain HRIS records and generate HR reports as needed
• Assist with performance management, employee development, and training initiatives
• Support implementation and maintenance of HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, ITAR regulations, safety standards, and company policies
• Partner with managers and supervisors to improve employee engagement and organizational effectiveness

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
• 5 years of Human Resources experience required
• Manufacturing or plant environment experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of: 
• Payroll administration
• Benefits administration
• Employee relations
• FMLA, STD/LTD, Workers’ Compensation
• Employment law and compliance
• Experience with HRIS systems and payroll platforms; ADP experience preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• HR Certifications (PHR, SHRM-CP, etc.) highly desired
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident due to ITAR regulations (no sponsorship available)

Pay

$80,000 - $90,000 annually

Schedule

 Full Time | Monday–Friday | 100% On-Site | Plaistow, NH
