Business Systems Analyst | Midvale, UT
Nexeo Staffing is seeking a Business Systems Analyst for an exciting opportunity with a leading financial services organization. In this role, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, process owners, and technology teams to support critical commercial lending initiatives by analyzing business processes, documenting controls, and ensuring compliance throughout system transformation projects. Responsibilities
- Research, analyze, and document current business processes, workflows, and controls related to commercial lending operations.
- Assess the impact of system and process changes associated with commercial lending transformation initiatives.
- Partner with business process owners to identify, document, and validate controls prior to project releases.
- Coordinate with compliance, risk, audit, and Second Line of Defense teams to obtain required control approvals and signoffs.
- Maintain control traceability matrices and ensure all controls are properly documented and validated before go-live.
- Facilitate meetings with stakeholders across multiple departments to gather information, resolve issues, and track project progress.
- Document requirements, process flows, and system impacts to support project objectives.
- Monitor project deliverables and assist with implementation activities as needed.
- Utilize Excel and other Microsoft Office applications to organize, analyze, and report data.
- Support additional projects and initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Process Analyst, or similar role preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Technical aptitude with the ability to understand system functionality, integrations, and data flow processes.
- Experience documenting business processes, controls, and requirements.
- Knowledge of risk management, compliance controls, SOX controls, or audit processes is a plus.
- Experience with commercial lending processes or financial services environments preferred.
- Familiarity with nCino or other Loan Origination Systems is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work onsite in Midvale, Utah, preferred.
Pay
$48.00 per hour
Schedule
Full Time | Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
