Forklift Operator / Material Handler | Hyde Park, UT
Nexeo is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator / Yard & Material Handler to join our team in Hyde Park, UT. This position plays a vital role in keeping production on track by staging materials, managing yard organization, and supporting shipping and receiving operations. If you’re safety-focused, detail-oriented, and skilled with a forklift, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities
• Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials and parts
• Stage materials for jobs and production workstations to maximize shop efficiency
• Support shipping and receiving by packaging, loading, and unloading vehicles
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-kept yard
• Assist supervisors with material rotation and workflow management
• Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and coordinate maintenance as needed
• Serve as backup for shipping/receiving clerk or driver when required
• Provide occasional assistance with assembly tasks
Qualifications
• Proven forklift operating experience and strong commitment to workplace safety
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable time management and organizational abilities
• Ability to complete and manage basic paperwork accurately
• Physical ability to regularly move materials weighing up to 100 lbs
• Comfortable working indoors, outdoors, and in varying weather conditions
Pay
$18.00 per hour
Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
