Forklift Operator - Manufacturing | Ogden, UT
Nexeo Staffing is hiring experienced Forklift Operators for a leading manufacturing company in Ogden, Utah. This full-time, long-term position is ideal for safety-focused candidates with at least two years of forklift, tugger, warehouse, or material-handling experience. You'll transport materials, load and unload products, and support production operations while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Multiple shifts are available, with competitive pay and opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and tuggers throughout the manufacturing facility
- Transport raw materials, finished products, equipment, and supplies
- Load and unload trucks, storage racks, and production lines
- Deliver materials accurately and on schedule to support production needs
- Stack, organize, and secure materials to prevent damage
- Inspect forklifts and material-handling equipment before use
- Follow OSHA requirements and all company safety procedures
- Report equipment problems, damaged products, and safety concerns
- Communicate effectively with warehouse, production, and supervisory teams
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Qualifications
- At least two years of forklift or material-handling experience required
- Experience operating tuggers or similar warehouse equipment preferred
- Forklift certification preferred, or willingness and ability to obtain certification
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic reading, math, and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Must be dependable and available for overtime as required
Pay
$19.50-$22.52 per hour
Schedule
Full Time | Multiple Shifts Available
- Day Shift: Monday-Friday | 5:45 AM-2:00 PM
- Swing Shift: Monday-Friday | 1:45 PM-10:00 PM
- Graveyard Shift: Sunday-Thursday | 9:45 PM-6:00 AM
- Overtime may be required.
