Dispatch Operations Coordinator (Non-Driving Role) | Henderson, NV

Nexeo HR is hiring a Dispatch Operations Coordinator for a high-volume fixtures distribution center in Henderson, NV. This is a non-driving, office-based dispatch position focused on coordinating daily transportation operations, routing, and compliance for a dedicated fleet.

This role is not entry-level. We are seeking candidates with prior transportation dispatch or fleet coordination experience who are comfortable managing multiple drivers, making real-time routing decisions, and maintaining DOT compliance in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Position Overview

The Dispatch Operations Coordinator is responsible for managing 10–15 drivers per shift, ensuring routes are executed efficiently, deliveries stay on schedule, and all transportation activities meet DOT and safety requirements. This role requires strong organizational skills, urgency, and the ability to communicate clearly with drivers and warehouse teams.

Important Notes:

• This is a dispatch/logistics coordination role — not a driving position
• Prior dispatch experience is required; entry-level applicants will not be considered
• Consistent attendance is essential, especially during high-volume periods
• This position does NOT involve driving

Responsibilities

• Dispatch and coordinate 10–15 truck drivers per shift
• Build, adjust, and manage daily delivery routes to meet operational deadlines
• Communicate assignments, route changes, and expectations to drivers and warehouse teams
• Monitor route progress and resolve delays, breakdowns, and scheduling conflicts in real time
• Ensure compliance with DOT Hours of Service (HOS) and transportation safety regulations
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, delivery records, and transportation documentation
• Utilize Excel and dispatch systems (TMS, routing software, telematics, fleet systems) for tracking and reporting
• Partner with safety, maintenance, and warehouse leadership to support smooth fleet operations
• Maintain strong attendance and reliability, especially during peak operating periods

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of hands-on transportation dispatch or fleet coordination experience
• Proven experience dispatching 10 or more drivers per shift
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service
• Strong multitasking and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Excel and transportation/dispatch software
• Clear, confident communication skills with drivers and operations teams
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with TMS, routing platforms, or telematics systems
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Experience supporting distribution centers or warehouse-based fleet operations

Pay
 $20.00 per hour

Schedule
Full Time | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
 Full Time | Monday – Friday | 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

• Mandatory overtime during peak periods
